Tigard Vision Center has been in operation in the downtown Tigard area for 50 years! The practice was founded in 1962 by Dr. Jack Smith, with plenty of help and support from his parents. In 1987, Dr. Bradley Smith joined his father's practice and has since taken over as President.
Our dedicated staff and doctors take pride in being on the cutting edge of technological advancements within the field while still maintaining a family-based and friendly atmosphere. Together with this passion for excellence and dedication to quality patient care Tigard Vision center has become a cornerstone in the local community. Birthed from a desire to expand our exceptional service to a greater part of the Portland metro area, Murray Scholls Vision Center was opened as Murray Scholls Optique in September 2002 at the corner of Murray Boulevard and Scholls Ferry Road (in the Murrayhill neighborhood).
Progressive practice, unique style, creative employees, and an up-beat attitude greet every patient when they arrive at Murray Scholls Vision Center. This expanded practice has received a positive reception from the Beaverton area residents and continues to grow.
